Today’s piece, Dylan. This is my friend, Raman’s Boston Terrier, today is Raman’s Birthday, so I figured best to post his pooch up. I worked on this over the past couple of days… The final will not look like this exactly, I just dolled up the textures and whatnot for a quick post up. Today’s Sketch, Church Emcee. Just getting back in the groove of making some art posts. and working on my style. I couldn’t sleep, so I worked on this. The reference photo I shot a while back while documenting a service at my Aunt’s Church.
Pete (3/23/2010). This weekend I attended a the wedding of one of Ana’s college roomates.. Very fancy, fun, good food and all that. I got the chance to meet Pete, who was sitting at the same table during the reception. He is a filmmaker and producer based out of Manhattan where he does his thing.
He showed me some clips of a documentary film he is producing about Eugenics and how Hitler got all of his ideas of creating a superior race from documented practices in the United States. It shows how the US used sterilization and testing to try and weed out unwanted traits and build better people. For more information, check out: http://www.waragainsttheweakmovie.com

He also slapped my business card sticker on the back of his iphone - mad respect! He enjoyed my sketchbooked sketches so much, I knew I had to post him for today.
… Man I am really falling behind now on my sketches… oh well, at least I am keeping up little by little… more tomorrow… hopefully… - peace!

I have fallen off on doing my daily illustrations for the past week, but I’ll catch up. I am seriously busy with teaching and having to head up to Rochester and whatnot, but Ill will start backdating some pieces to get back in the flow. Actually, in knowing that more of my students are following me now on tumblr, I feel like I have to.
